Mission Statement:
To strengthen the bond between people and animals through training and education.

Who we are and what we do.

We are a company that specializes in Wildlife Education Programs, Professional Animal Training, as well as Rescue & Sanctuary for animals in need. We welcome you to click on the page links to the left to explore what our organization has to offer. Below is a brief description of a few of the programs that we offer.

Animal Encounters, Inc. offers Professional Animal Training for all species. We offer a wide variety of group classes which are listed under our "Dog Training & Classes" page. We also offer private lessons for all species, which are listed under our "Private Lessons" page. Each of our trainers hold degrees and/or certificates in animal behavior related studies. In addition, all of our trainers have passed a company internship and certification course administered by the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. We only employ the best trainers to better help you with your animal training needs.

Our "Rescue & Sanctuary" page is designed for private owners, zoos and rehabilitation facilities that have non releasable wildlife that need a home - more specifically, immediate, permanent placement. Some of the animals we have in our care arrived with medical conditions that needed 24 hour skilled veterinary nursing care, which our facility is equipped to provide. All of the animals we take in are met with lots of love, trained knowledgeable staff and the best medical care available. We provide them with a loving and enriching environment to live out the rest of their natural lives.

Part of this is paid for by the Wildlife Education Programs. Only animals which enjoy participating in the presentations as "Animal Ambassadors" are used in the shows. We feel that these "Animals Ambassadors" are a key element in educating children and adults in today's society so we can preserve a place for animals like them in the wild for tomorrow.

Animal Encounters supports N.A.R.F (Natures Animal Rescue Fund), a 501(c)3 Non Profit Organization that is dedicated to helping domestic animals as well as native wildlife rehabilitation facilities. With the help of and local veterinarians we have put together a program that offers low cost solutions for pet owners that need to find affordable veterinary care. N.A.R.F. is currently applying for a grants to purchase a mobile veterinary unit which will be used to help to provide the public and California wildlife rehabilitation facilities with low cost veterinary care - but they need our help! Please visit N.A.R.F.'s site: www.donate2narf.org for more information!
