Animal Encounters, Inc. offers a wide variety of classes.
The classes on this page are in chronological order.
Enrollment: Enrollment is per person or per team (team is a handler and pet).
Refund Policy: Refunds can be credited before the first day of class. Refunds will not be given after the first day of classes unless medical note (either human or veterinary) is provided. There are no make up sessions for classes missed.

Puppy Preschool
Get your 3-12 month puppy started the right way! Will focus on the power of positive reinforcement, potty training, crate training, basic obedience cues, and learning the leash. Proof of vaccinations required at 1st class. AKC S.T.A.R. puppy testing is available (and optional) for all students. For students that chose to test there is a $25 materials fee.
Location: Valencia Meadows Park
Date: Saturdays, from 9a-10a starting on February 25th

Dog Agility for Fun
Learn to use basic obedience cues and positive reinforcement while applying the principles of dog agility in a safe and fun environment. Dogs must be 6 months or older and have proof of current vaccines at first class. Children must be cleared by the trainer to handle dogs in class.

Learn to Become a Therapy Dog Team
This class will cover the basic behaviors needed to pass your therapy certifications. Dogs are not required, but are strongly recommended to have attained their Canine Good Citizen title by the last day of class. Class is 5 weeks. Enrollment does not guarantee a passing score.

Pet CPR & First Aid Certification Course
Earn your Red Cross Certification in CPR/First Aid for dogs and cats! Additional topics include household toxins, injuries, and disaster preparedness. Students will also get a chance to practice techniques on our CPR manikins. Fee includes books and certification card.
Location: Valencia Meadows Park Community Center
Dates: March 3rd from 1p-4p
