Animal Encounters is working with N.A.R.F (Nature's Animal Rescue Fund) and local veterinarians to provide a Low Cost Veterinary Care program to the public. Currently, we are doing low cost vaccine clinics monthly. We will be offering low cost spay/neuter again once N.A.R.F. has raised enough money to purchase a mobile veterinary unit.
Space and vaccines are limited and we tend to book up quickly!

Rabies Vaccine
For dogs and cats.

Rattlesnake Vaccine
Inital vaccination is one now, one a month later, then annually (per manufacturer: Red Rock Biologics). Please note: That vaccination does NOT eliminate the envenomation toxicity, but studies have show that it can significantly reduce it. If bitten by a rattlesnake you still need to seek immediate medical attention for your pet.

Dogs: Adult or Puppy Booster
For dogs that have not finished their inital series of vaccines, or for dogs that you are unsure of their vaccine history. Includes DA2PPV and Corona vaccines.

This vaccine is given intranasally (in the nose) to their is no painful poke of needle.

Therapy Dog Package
This is for folks who are looking to get their dogs ready to test for Therapy work. All of the certifications require that your animal be seen by a veterinarian, checked for parasites (o & p as well as giardia), and currently vaccinated (rabies and annual vaccine for that specie), as well as getting your paperwork completed before you leave. This package will take care of it all for you in one stop! Also includes nail trim and anal gland expression (if needed).
