Professional Animal Training
At Animal Encounters, Inc. we have a training program for every type of animal. The courses listed below can be booked for any type of animal: dogs, cats, parrots and reptiles (to name a few). Our highly skilled staff are dedicated to helping you better understand your pets through comprehensive training programs. All of our trainers hold degrees and/or certificates in Exotic Animal Training and Management as well as Animal Behavior. Most of our instructors have also taken and passed the Association of Pet Dog Trainer's Exam (CPDT). In addition to these requirements, our staff have also passed a company internship and certification course given by our Director of Training. The key to our high success rate, in addition to our expert staff, is that you and your pet will receive personal, professional attention to help you with all of your training needs.
We have several private and group courses to chose from. Typically, lessons last approximately one hour. We want to be sure that you get all of your questions answered. If you have questions about your animal between lessons or after classes have ended, we encourage you to call our office toll free at 888-WILD-411 or email is at encounters247@aol.com. A trainer will get back you you as soon as possible. Please note: When purchasing the lesson packages, all lessons must be used within six weeks of your first lesson. Any unused lessons at the end of the six weeks will be considered forfeit.

Consultation
This is a single private lesson/consulation to assess your training needs and give advice. There are additional charges for mileage. Cost: $95

One Paw Course
Private lesson package of four classes. This package can be done in one week or over a month. All family members are encouraged to be at the lesson. There are additional fees for mileage. Cost: $300

Two Paw Course
Private lesson package of eight classes. This package can be done in eight consecutive days or over a month. All family members are encouraged to be at the lessons. There are additional fees for mileage. Cost: $600

Three Paw Course
Private lesson package of twelve classes. This package can be done in two consecutive weeks or over a month. All family members are encouraged to be at the lessons. There are additional fees for mileage. Cost: $900

|
Behavior Modification
Private lesson package of eight classes. This course is for pets that are having significant aggression issues that could be deemed potentially dangerous. This package is done in two consecutive weeks and two trainers are sent for the classes. There are additional fees for mileage. Cost: $1600

Booking Fee
Booking Fee is non refundable. It secures your date(s) and time(s), and allows you to pay for the program with cash or check at your first scheduled appontment. Booking fees are not required for clients who pre-pay for their programs online. However, if you cancel your program without notifiying us in writting within two business day before your scheduled appointment, you will have forfeited the $50 fee. The remainder of the cost of the program will be refunded (if applicable). Cost: $50

Additional Trainer Fee
There are situations where a second trainer would be required to help with your private lessons. For example: working through aggression issues, multiple pets, tracking behaviors, therapy dog preparation for exams. Cost: $50 (per lesson)
