Rescue & Sanctuary
We provide a permanent home for animals in need. All of the animals that are surrendered to our facility are guaranteed a loving and environmentally enriched home to live out the rest of their life. Because we are a permanent placement facility, we are limited as to the number of animals we can take in each year. We limit the number to ensure we can give all of our animals the absolute best care and attention they deserve. We work with some of the best veterinarians in the state to ensure all of the animals receive the best care possible.  In the event the animal to be surrendered has medical needs, our facility is equipped, and staffed around the clock with compassionate, highly trained animal trainers and veterinary technicians. All of the animals are examined on regular basis to help us stay on top of any changing medical needs they may have. Along with daily enrichment, all of the animals are assigned a trainer to work with them to help keep their minds and bodies in top shape!

After surrendering your animal, you are welcome to call or email as often as you’d like to check on his/her progress.  However, in order to facilitate a calm, secure and rehabilitative environment, our facility is closed to the public.
We are happy to send our qualified staff to your location to pick up the animal being surrendered.

Donations
At Animal Encounters Inc. we fund our santuary program from the money we earn from the training and education courses we offer. However, we like to support Natures Animal Rescue Fund (NARF) a 501(c)3 Non Profit Organization. NARF is a small organization. They make a difference with whatever funds they can raise, from spay/neuter programs for ferel cats to collecting medical supplies for animals to send for relief efforts during a time of need. Every dollar makes a difference. Visit them on the web: www.donate2narf.org
